Road Committee

MISSION: The specific focus of the Road Committee is on routine road maintenance requirements and to oversee the repair of the roads as needed.  The Road Committee has the authority to develop road action plans, establish guidelines for bidding road maintenance repair and establish approved contractors and monitor performance.  Plans must be reviewed and approved by the Board prior to implementation.

Speed limits have been established for all Oakridge Ranch roads at 35 mph maximum, with 20 mph on the s-curve of Oakridge Road as posted.   All oilfield traffic is limited to 25 mph on Oakridge Road.

The Road Committee is made up of Oakridge Ranch volunteers who wish to help out their neighbors by assisting in the upkeep of all the roads in the Ranch.   The Board oversight for the Road Committee is currently Wayne Wolfford.   To become a volunteer, please contact Wayne Wolfford.   Your participation will be welcomed!

As you see work being done on our roads, stop and say “Thank You” to your neighbors.   At the least, give them a “Thumbs Up” as you drive by.   Let them know they are appreciated!

When you’re driving through an area being repaired, reduce your speed and follow any directions of the road crew to navigate through the area safely. The safety of our road crews and Oakridge drivers is important!

During 2015, the ORIA Board made the decision to purchase a pneumatic roller (“packer”) making it easier to properly lay road materials for the hard surface on Oakridge Road. The picture below is of Rick Stephens using this packer to help lay road materials.
